Le Doguin is the first web magazine to provide an intimate look into the homes and lifestyle of exceptional individuals and their dogs all over the world.
Founded by Dune Chambaud in 2018, Le Doguin was conceptualized as a platform to merge canine culture and the art of living through homestory profiles, exclusive interviews, and the series of “A Walk With” film shorts.
Exploring the role of the dog through the spheres of art, photography, fashion, and travel, Le Doguin aims to offer unique insight and news of all canine happenings.
While Le Doguin principally exists as an online interface, it will release an annual print edition to immortalize its most iconic features, and give your library something to covet.
Born into a family with many dogs, I took my very first steps holding onto the collars of our family Dobermans, Ada and Archibald. Growing up as an only child near the Black Forest, I
considered the dogs in my life my four-legged siblings and indispensable companions.
I later left to Munich to pursue my studies in fashion, where I met my French husband with whom I would move to Paris and we would start a canine family of our own. It wasn’t very hard to choose a breed that complemented us and our metropolitan lifestyle: the Pug, “Le bon vivant du chien” so to say!
While working in Paris for renowned fashion houses and interior design companies, I began to collect profiles on dogs and their owners as a hobby.
As my passion grew I felt compelled to share these exceptional encounters with like-minded individuals and thus meet more kindred spirits.
Wanting to showcase my portraits with people who share the same love for interiors and dogs all over the world, I founded Le Doguin in 2018.
Last summer my husband and I welcomed our first-born son Karl, whom our pugs, George and Louis, protect like real-life Foo dogs - guardians of our home.
